Safeguard the Cairngorms is a site that is dedicated to the safety and well-being of the Cairngorms National Park which was established in the year 2003, in the north-east part of Scotland. The Scottish Parliament set up only one other park like this.

The park was named after the Cairngorms Mountains and hills that surround the park making it the largest national park in the British Isles. It is spread over an area of 4528 km and has been termed as a Category 5 protected landscape and Category 2 national park.

The local government is busy encouraging tourism in the city making it a hotspot for nature and adventure lovers. Dalwhinnie Distillery and The Highland Wildlife Park are situated right inside the national park.
